Go check out my new blog. It started in January, but just started getting up and going recently… comments and feedback always welcome and appreciated! XOOXO EVA
I found the most amazing blog on the interweb at this time! Wow, who would have thunk it! Leah Dieterich’s blog THXTHXTHX is all about her post it notes of gratitude. She puts a lot of different things in perspective while staying true to herself. My favorite so far has been
”Dear Heart, Thank you for containing the word ‘hear’. Its like you come with instructions.”
Not only does she thank everything, but there all hilarious! I want to thank her for being so awesome! Go check out her blog… http://thxthxthx.com
At the beginning of the year I wanted to do daily challenges, and I failed that these last few weeks. I found a full time job that left me NO time for my photography that I am passionate about. UGH Well I quit the job because it was not what I thought after the first few weeks. I hate wasting my time… well i am looking for some sort of full time job that will give me the ability to do my photography but have fun and get paid as well. Hopefully God will send me another opportunity and I will be set, however, right now I will concentrate on my pictures and moving forth to my goals of a professional photographer.
A few weeks ago I contacted a photographer in my area to hopefully pick their brain and learn more about how to make a professional photograph. Well surprisingly he emailed back and looked at my facebook page…glancing at my skill level. He suggested meeting the next day because he really liked a few of my locations. I assumed I would be able to hang out, talk about photography and all that comes with it.
After a few minutes he had my camera in his hands and we were doing a photoshoot of me… a few hours later and two locations into it we were finally done. But I did not go home empty handed… Mike asked me to come along to a photoshoot to possibly intern for him if he liked working with me. Yay!!! Learning from someone who does what I eventually want to do… OF COURSE!!!!
Today was the day, and with much exhaustion I must say that was the funnest 5 hours of work I have ever had! Not only did I have a great time, but I came home with amazing pictures and more behind the scenes knowledge of photography. We went to 3 different locations, photographed 4 models… WOW!!!! A lot of standing and holding reflectors and shooting! Well I cant keep you guys awaiting any longer… Here’s a sneek peek of todays festivities… :) Hope you guys like… please comment if you want…

Gotta represent my brand! I love the city in the lens… it puts a twist on the picture and you get a feel for the photographer. A look into a bigger picture so to speak.
